Services

Trauma-Informed Therapy
Trauma can impact all parts of an individual's brain which is why treatments like EMDR and sensorimotor psychotherapy are vital in its treatment. These therapy's offer a bottom-up approach that can help rewire the brain's neural pathways that have been impacted.

Couples Therapy
I am trained in emotion-focused couples therapy that is focused on, you guessed it, EMOTIONS! I will also integrate other modalities that can assist with unresolved trauma and attachment ruptures that are now affecting your current relationships.

Grief and Loss Support
I was trained at Hospice Calgary/Rosedale Hospice and I understand the intimacy that grief therapy requires. I am not here to push you or make you feel better. I am here to provide a secure and safe environment so you can move through your grief; of course with the goal of healing. I have a huge tolerance for grief and all the emotions that accompany this complex and natural experience and I would feel most honoured to walk alongside your grief journey with you.

OCD Treatment
I understand that OCD can make you question and doubt yourself - after all it has been dubbed the self-doubting disease! OCD can mask itself as many other problems and is often only recognized when a person is completing behavioural compulsions ie. hand washing and physical checking. However, OCD can present in many different ways preying on many different themes in your life. Often it will prey on the things most important to you. This is exactly why it is known as the self-doubting disease. You have learned to question yourself, fear your thoughts, and have now created safety behaviours to block these false-fears. I can offer an informal assessment as well as the gold standard of treatment - exposure response prevention.
